Terms of use

Last updated: 9 April 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website, applications and services offered by Talio (“Talio”, “we”), including matching talent with companies, recruitment tracking tools, Talio Academy and spaces reserved for authorised internal teams.

1. Purpose and acceptance

By creating an account, accessing the Platform or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms, our Privacy policy and, where applicable, our Cookie policy, and that you accept them without reservation. If you do not accept these documents, you must not use the Platform.

Specific terms (framework agreement, purchase order, mandate, service agreement) may supplement these Terms for certain clients or partners; in the event of conflict, the signed specific provisions prevail for the parties concerned only.

2. Definitions

  • Platform: all web interfaces and digital services published by Talio.
  • User: any person with access (talent, company representative, Talio staff member, etc.).
  • Talent: candidate, freelancer, consultant or similar profile registered or being processed via Talio.
  • Client: company or organisation using Talio to express needs, receive profile proposals or organise interviews.
  • Content: data, text, files, messages, assessments and information submitted by Users via the Platform.

3. Access to the service and account

Access to certain features requires creating an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity carried out from your account. You must notify us without delay of any unauthorised use.

Talio reserves the right to refuse account opening, or to suspend or close access, in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraud, a security incident or non-payment where paid services are concerned.

4. Summary description of the services

Talio provides in particular:

  • tools enabling talent to build a profile, apply or be proposed for client needs;
  • tools enabling clients to express needs, review profiles, provide feedback and take part in process steps (including interview scheduling where available);
  • support and training services (Talio Academy, onboarding paths) where offered;
  • internal features for Talio teams (follow-up, matching, notifications, operational management).

The feature list may evolve. Talio may update the Platform for technical, legal or security reasons, while maintaining a reasonable service level.

5. User obligations

You undertake to:

  • provide fair, accurate and non-misleading information, including about your identity, skills and availability;
  • respect third-party rights (intellectual property, trade secrets, privacy) and applicable law (including employment law and non-discrimination);
  • not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, to harass, spam, distribute malware or circumvent security measures;
  • not mass-extract data (“scraping”) without prior written authorisation from Talio;
  • maintain the confidentiality of non-public information you may learn in the course of a recruitment or assignment process.

6. Content and licence

You remain the owner of your Content. By uploading it to the Platform, you grant Talio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the necessary duration to host, display, process, analyse (including by automated or AI means as described in our privacy policy) and transmit it only to Users and processors who need access for matching and service delivery.

You warrant that you hold the required rights over Content submitted and will indemnify Talio against any well-founded third-party claim relating to it.

7. Matching, shortlisting and interviews

Profile proposals, scores or rankings are provided as decision-support aids. Unless otherwise agreed in a signed contract between the parties, Talio does not guarantee a hiring outcome or the conclusion of a contract between a talent and a client.

Practical interview arrangements (video tool, link, each party’s obligations) are set out in the interface or via operational communication. Each party remains responsible for its availability and for fulfilling the commitments it makes in the process.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its structure, trademarks, logos, databases, interfaces and code are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction or exploitation is prohibited. Talio grants you a personal, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

9. Liability

Talio endeavours to ensure the availability and security of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the total absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, Talio’s liability shall not be engaged for indirect damages, loss of opportunity, or data loss resulting from User or third-party fault, or force majeure.

Contractual and tax relationships between a talent and a client (assignment, remuneration, status) arise from agreements concluded directly between them or from their respective legal obligations, except where Talio expressly acts as a contractual intermediary under a written framework.

10. Personal data

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy. Trackers are described in the Cookie policy.

11. Term and termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Platform. You may request account closure as provided in the interface or by contacting us. Talio may terminate or suspend access in the event of a serious or repeated breach.

Provisions intended to survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability within legal limits, disputes) remain applicable after use ends.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable settlement, exclusive jurisdiction is conferred on the competent courts of Paris, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of public policy.

Pursuant to Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, if you are a consumer you may free of charge refer the matter to a consumer mediator with a view to amicable resolution of any dispute between us, subject to acceptance of your file by the mediator. The applicable mediator’s details will be provided on request or on our website where required by law.

13. Contact
